LATINO programming
September 3rd, 2008 Filed under: dish latino, dish latino dos, dish latino max, dish network, satellite television, satellite tv by NkenoWith the millions of Spanish-speakers in the United States it only makes sense to have programming that caters to them. Introducing the Dish LATINO packages from Dish Network.
These packages are nothing new from Dish Network. They have been around for years.
There are three main packages; Dish LATINO, Dish LATINO Dos, and Dish LATINO Max. Pricing is very reasonable, starting at $27.99/mo. Local channels are an additional $5 as with all Dish Network packages.
The first package features channels that are almost entirely in Spanish. This is for the money-conscious buyer who wants quality programming that won’t put a hole in their pockets. This suits those who don’t speak and understand English too well.
Dish LATINO Dos features over 185 channels in both Spanish and English for only $32.99/mo (extra for locals). You get such channels as CNN, Telemundo, and Cine Latino.
The last package is known as Dish LATINO Max and it comprises all the channels from the previous two, plus more ! This one goes for $49.99 per month.
Satellite TV is cheaper than Cable.
July 10th, 2008 Filed under: satellite television, satellite tv by NkenoSatellite TV is cheaper and easier to get than Cable television. Satellite works as long as there is a clear line of sight and can even work near trees. I live on a remote road where we cannot get Cable and when I moved here I had no choice for quality programming but Satellite. Well when I dumped my Cable provider I saved money and got more channels. I still have my local channels which is a bad point the Cable companies like to make about satellite not having local channels like they do, but I still have my locals.
International Programming
June 9th, 2008 Filed under: dish network, dish network international programming, satellite television, thuan viet by NkenoThe United States is a melting pot when it comes to nationalities. Gone are the days when it was predominantly people of European descent (read: White settlers), African descent, and American Indians (indigenous inhabitants of this land).
These days we have people who were born in other countries, and now reside in the USA. DishNetwork has taken that into account and has assembled a line-up of channels to cater for all the different nationalities in the country. For example, they are the only satellite television provider to offer Thuan Viet, a Vietnamese channel.
Of course, in order for you to enjoy these international channels you need to subscribe to at least America’s Top 100 package, which starts at $32.99.
All channels by Dish Network are 100% digital.
Cable company sued
June 7th, 2008 Filed under: dish network, dish tv, satellite television, satellite tv by NkenoDid you hear about the recent civil suit filed against Time Warner Cable ? Apparently they were giving false claims to potential, as well as current subscribers on a number of their deals.
Now, a satellite television company like Dish Network wouldn’t do something like that. Our offers are 100% legit and you can rest assured that you won;t be missled with any false advertising.
Dish TV is simply the leader when it comes to home entertainment.
