L.A resident frustrated about Cable service

A 27-yr old Loz Feliz resident is furious that he cannot switch to satellite tv because his apartment complex does not allow the installation of dishes. What a pain in the you-know-what. He is currently subscribed to Time-Warner and recently purchased a 42-inch Sony HD TV but only gets 16 high-def channels from Time Warner. Dish Network offers close to 100 channels in high-definition, but he cannot switch to them because some grumpy landlord won’t allow a dish !!
This 27-yr old recently complained to Time Warner and was given a free, one-year’s subscription to HBO (like that would help).
What use is it if one spends up to $3000 on a television set but cannot really ‘use’ it ?
